Sunlight’s showers on my flowers

Germinate creation’s powers

Pick a rosebud arched and lazy

Pluck a dapper, dancing daisy

Turn them, twist them, sunshine kiss them

Light their petals, dew drops glisten

Pose them in perfection seeming

Leaves arrayed and petals pleasing

Render flowers with affection

Lines define their fine complexions

Beauty hastens, life is captured

Pencil praises truth enraptured

I create a vivid vision

With a pencil’s poised precision
